I'm a mom, a teacher, and someone who believes the moments worth remembering rarely happen on cue.

Koum comes from the Gospels, when Jesus says, "Talitha Koum," little girl, get up. It's a reminder that not everyone gets another day, so I try to live each one fully. That's the spirit I bring to every session: these moments matter, and they're worth holding onto.

I'll pose you when it helps, but my favorite images are the ones that sneak up on you, the laugh that comes out mid-sentence, the way someone looks at their person when they think no one's watching, the real stuff.

My favorite shoots feel less like shoots and more like tagging along, a hike, a backyard afternoon, a trip to your favorite spot. You do your thing, and I grab the moments along the way.
